Meet the Staff

Hello! Our staff is committed to helping you grow in your relationship to Jesus. We look forward to becoming acquainted so please feel free to contact us.

Chris Loyd, Pastor Email: Chris@NLFNJ.com Pastor Loyd has been in pastoral ministry since 1999.  Prior to the pastoral ministry his professional career included fifteen years in the product design business and sixteen months as a hospital chaplain. His education includes a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Texas at San Antonio, a Master’s of Divinity from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and postgraduate studies in Clinical Pastoral Education at New York Methodist Hospital.  Pastor Loyd began his ministry at NLF in September 2005.

Jeanne Oplinger, Director of Worship Arts Email: Jeanne.Oplinger@gmail.com Jeanne, a native of New Jersey, is married to Tom and has 2 active children. Her formal education is in Nursing and Cardiovascular technology. She continues to work as a Critical Care Nurse at a local hospital. She has been attending NLF since 1992 and came to Christ in 1999. She has a compassion for people and a strong passion for worship. It is her desire to see hearts drawn closer to the Lord and to each other through worship. Jeanne has been involved in the music ministry at NLF for many years but assumed leadership in June 2010.

Ryan Ozolins, Director of Youth & Young Adult Ministries Email: ROzolins@gmail.com  Ryan is a native of New Jersey and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Youth Ministries and a Minor in Biblical Studies from Gordon College, Wenham, MA. Ryan has been involved in youth ministry since 2003. Ryan began his ministry at NLF in June 2010.

Denise Fowler, Director of Children's Ministries Email: den_fowler@yahoo.com Denise Fowler, our Children's Ministry Coordinator, was born and raised in the Binghamton, NY area.  In her home town of Harpersville, her father William Fowler has served as pastor of Bethel Chapel for 19 years.  Denise moved to New Jersey in 1989 to become a nanny. She continues to work as an in-home childcare provider to this day.   Denise joined the staff of NLF in 2002.

Julianne Ostrow, Administrative Assistant Email: Office@NLFNJ.com  Julianne joined the staff of NLF in May 2008
